This collection is a continuation of my mixed media still-life images, influenced by the atmospheric work of Carlos Tarrats, combining the mediums of paint and photography. The subject was photographed through the printed acrylic screen. I experimented with lighting the image from different angles and manipulated the colour of the paint in post-production, using Photoshop. I printed these images onto transparent plastic and displayed them in a light box to back-light them.
